Meet Fleschette Fannée-Flambé - red-hot French chef, proprietress of the Hot Buns Bakery, and my newest original character!
A few fun facts about her name:
'Flechette' is a French word meaning 'little arrow' or basically, 'dart' - referring to straight, sharp pieces of metal. What could THOSE possibly have to do with Hot Buns? In a unique variant, her name includes an 's' - as if the word 'flesh' got mixed in there somehow...multiple layers of meaning! XD
I should note to my esteemed readers overseas that, in America, 'fanny' means 'derrière'; I've heard that it's a bit different in other English-speaking countries. Interestingly enough, the name Fanny is a diminutive of Frances, which originally meant 'Frenchman' - or in this case, 'Frenchwoman'!
And of course, 'flambé' (French for 'flamed') refers to fancy, liqueur-drenched dishes that are presented at the table with a burst of flame. Yum!

If you want to print this yourself or just have the full-size version, a 4" x 5.82", 300 PPI, uncompressed TIFF file is available for purchase with DeviantArt points! (You have my express written permission to print for your personal use if you buy that!)
Or if you don't want to print it yourself, I'm going to try out offering it as a DeviantArt print. I've never offered or bought prints here before, so we'll see how it goes. I plan to get one myself to see how they turn out.
